[2] Sages:: smart people.
[3] But, known?:: even sages cannot know the result.
[4] Truth:: result of the game. adjourn:: to defer its further proceedings to another day. Boon:: the gift (of profound wisdom) of sages.
[5] Without Day:: endless. The wisdom of sages cannot apply to Love.
