[1, 2] Elysium, Room:: Edmond was imprisoned in a cell right beside a poor mad priest, who later gave him wealthy, knowledge, and freedom. The old priest knew a treasure burried in Monte Cristo, that he told Edmond before he died.
[4] Felicity or Doom:: Edmond's fate in that escape scene.
[6–8] endure, Door:: the priest died and guards sawed him in a bag; Edmond switched himself with the body, waiting to be carried out.
