[3] Revolution:: Nicolaus Copernicus (1473–1543) stated in 1543 that the Earth isn't the center of the universe, but the Catholic prohibited his book until 1835. Giordano Bruno (1548–1600) conceptualized the universe as a continuum, and was burned at the stake in 1600.
