Of Paul and Silas it is said 1
There were in Prison laid
But when they went to take them out
They were not there instead.
Security the same insures 5
To our assaulted Minds-
The staple must be optional
That an Immortal binds.
There were in Prison laid

To our assaulted Minds-

[1, 2] Paul and Silas, in Prison:: from Bible, Acts 16:24–25.
[3, 4] take them out:: Jews tried to assault them; from Bible, Acts 17:5–6, not Acts 16:26.
[5] Security:: a pledge to secure one's good behaviour; this word appears only once in Bible, Acts 17:9. the same insures:: Jason's security guarantees the same to his companies.
[6] assaulted minds:: minds to assault apostles; Jews gathered and assaulted the house of Jason. (Acts 17:5)
[7, 8] staple, binds:: chain must be optinal for someone being bound by the immortal.
[5–8] One's pledge (Jesus) can insure all his followers under assault. Chain is optional for what an Immortal (a Christian belief) binds; or, Christians are protected with privilege.
Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. (Acts 16:24–26)
But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.
And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.
And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. (Acts 17:5–10)
