Are Friends Delight or Pain — Needle's Eye

Are Friends Delight or Pain? 1
Could Bounty but remain
Riches were good-

But if they only stay 4
Ampler to fly away
Riches are sad.
(F.1224/J.1199)
[1] Friends:: rich people's poor friends, hinted in line three.
[2] Bounty:: a sum of money paid for a reward, i.e, Heaven; the money "distribute unto the poor" to "enter into the kingdom of God." (Luke 18:22–24)
[3] Riches:: rich people.
[4] they:: rich people, who stayed in their current life.
[5] Ampler to fly away:: to let the Heaven, the ampler thing, to fly away.
[6] sad:: rich people are sad; "he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich." (Luke 18:23)

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Luke 18:22–25)
