I reason, Earth is short — Slavery

I reason, Earth is short－¹
And Anguish－absolute－
And many hurt,
But, what of that?

I reason, we could die－⁵
The best Vitality
Cannot excel Decay,
But, what of that?

I reason, that in Heaven－⁹
Somehow, it will be even－
Some new Equation, given－
But, what of that?
