Give little Anguish-1
Lives will fret-
Give Avalanches-
And they'll slant-
Straighten-look cautious for their Breath-5
But make no syllable-like Death-
Who only shows the Marble Disc-
Sublimer sort-than Speech-

[2] Lives:: lives of words.
[3] Avalanches:: many twists of words.
[4] slant:: the meaning of a poem will be twisted.
[5] Straighten:: to get the meaning back. breath:: a word's sound.
[6] Death:: idle, unflexible.
[7] face:: a word's face meaning.
[8] Speech:: preach, without affection.
