As if some little Arctic flower 1
Upon the polar hem－
Went wandering down the Latitudes
Until it puzzled came
To continents of summer－5
To firmaments of sun－
To strange, bright crowds of flowers－

To Eden, wandered in－
What then? Why nothing,
Only, your inference therefrom!

[4] puzzled:: the word beetle has an usage as someone being mentally blind.
[7, 8, 10] strange, foreign, wandered:: a mock at some ignorant people like beetle.
[12] inference:: what happens to the beetle, or the ignorant, readers can judge by themselves.
