Good Night! Which put the Candle out — Votive Candle

The question is to connect the four things: candle, angels, sailor, drummer. Certain logic should be in Dickinson's mind. Angel has the definition of pastor; a sailor (who needs lighthouse) and drummer (who wakes up soldiers) let others worry for them.

Good Night! Which put the Candle out?1
A jealous Zephyr-not a doubt-
Ah, friend, you little knew
How long at that celestial wick
The Angels-labored diligent-
Extinguished-now-for you!

It might-have been the Light House spark-7
Some Sailor-rowing in the Dark-
Had importuned to see!
It might-have been the waning lamp
That lit the Drummer from the Camp
To purer Reveille!
(F.322/J.259)
[1] Candle:: a votive candle.
[2] jealous Zephyr:: west wind, or the god of west wind, who failed the candle. Zephyr's definition of breeze hints at rumor, likely the hidden criticism of Dickinson.
[4] celestial:: a hint on church.
[5] Angel:: title of the pastor or minister of a church (OED 3).
[7, 8] spark, Sailor:: the votive candle to pray for a sailor at sea.
[10, 11] lamp, Drummer:: or for a drummer on the battlefield.

Close to the door burned upon some sort of stand a quantity of votive candles of all sizes, and in all stages of decline — before nothing particular, so far as I could discover — and which produced a very odd effect, with their irregular cluster of glimmering little lights. ─ Blackwood's Magazine (1859)
