Just Once! Oh least Request — God's Reply

A man took the echo of his prayer in a church as God's reply. His "Just once" got a permission of "Just once!" The man was a miser who put too little money in the offertory box.

Just Once! Oh least Request!
Could Adamant refuse
So small a Grace
So scanty put,
Such agonizing terms? 5
Would not a God of Flint
Be conscious of a sigh
As down His Heaven dropt remote
"Just Once" Sweet Deity? 9
